These are articles and links that SQBL players will use as part of their training program.

Hydration

Research shows that mental cognition and physical attributes such as strength, power and endurance all decrease when dehydrated. The hydration process needs to be started early. There are a number of ways to prevent dehydration, such as to drink adequate fluids pre-event (3-4 days leading up to the event).

Week 1 Training Program

Hey guys,

What follows is the first week training program. Trainings will be a similar format each week but I'll try and change drills each week so we don't stagnate.

SQBL A Grade throwing warmup

This is the throwing routine for the start of each training session. It should be done straight after the arm warmup routine.

Warm-up routine for SQBL A grade

This is the warm-up routine for SQBL A Grade players.

Players should be familiar with these exercises so that they can go through the sequence without supervision.
