Scope of work done at the WR Club by Box & Co on behalf of the BCC.
- Re-grout and water proof all joints etc. in grandstands.
- Repair cracks to concrete slabs in and around the club house.
- Replace guttering at rear of main building.
- Seal gaps between guttering and building – pest proofing.
- Replace downpipes from 3 main buildings.
- Install storm water pipes to take water away from buildings to storm water pit located near the batting cages.
- Remove old Scout hut and make good the land ie smoothed and seeded area.
- Removed old temp shed beside mower room.
- Replace timber landing between canteen and scorers rooms.
- Repair electrical wiring to batting cages.
- Installed 5 x vandal proof lights in tunnel.
- Replaced damaged step treads around grandstand and club house.
- Replace hand rail to rear steps.
- Replace hand rail to steps bedside canteen.
- Secured hand rail on top of main grandstand.
- Install hand rail on landing outside tunnel.
- Replace metal supporting posts in dug outs.
- Cemented around back of dugouts – reduce water entry.
- Removed and re-render inside dug outs.
- Cleaned out drainage pipes and pits in both dug outs.
- Secured covers to storm water pits – both dug outs.
- Repairs to back-net supports.
- Re-tiled floors and walls of both change rooms.
- Supplied and installed new shower fittings in both change rooms.
- Engineered and installed new brackets to secure shade sails to buildings.
- Removed old cement paths between dugouts and replaced with new pathways.
- Supplied and installed road base between the two dug outs.
- Provide security cover over sprinkler wiring (external western wall of grandstand)
- Repair vandal damage to club houses.
- Repair privacy screens to both toilets.
- Repaired block work to rear of main grandstand.
