In 1955 the Windsor Royals Baseball Club was established. The idea was to provide a club to facilitate the increasing number of local people interested in the great sport of Baseball. The priority of the club that remains even to today is to provide a family orientated sporting environment for all to enjoy. The club holds a strong focuses on the junior development of inspiring athletes, and to harvest talented players for now and for the future. As a testimony to the club this vision became a reality and still remains a strong value today.

The Windsor Royals are located in the city of Brisbane, at Holloway Field in the inner city suburb of Newmarket Brisbane. approximately four kilometers from downtown

Holloway Field, the home of the Royals, is seen by many as Brisbane’s leading baseball facility. The facility features an excellent main field designed as a true ballpark with elevated shade covered grand stands, club rooms, a canteen with dining area, as well as a bar. The facility also has specialized junior and little league fields, and includes batting cages, pitchers ball pens, and dressing rooms. The facility boasts additional extras such as announcers box, scorers boxes, and a corporate suite.

The Royals long tradition of producing some of Australia’s most elite baseball talent is well known. The Royals are regularly represented each year through obvious regional, state, and national teams, and have also produced numerious professionally signed athletes to Major League baseball clubs.
